A Christmas Special. . . 

Did you spot the Kent Life donkeys and the Hopping Kitchen on BBC Bargain Hunt’s Christmas Special recently?! That’s right, the production team from the well-loved British TV programme visited us back in November to film a Nativity scene for their opening shot.

It wouldn’t be a Bargain Hunt Christmas Special without some festive theatre, so we were very excited when the team got in touch, as we knew the farm and our furry friends   would be perfect for recreating the famous Christmas story scene. Our lovely resident donkeys were duly recalled from retirement to take centre-stage, of course!

The filming took place outside our Hopping Kitchen, which was dressed as a stable for the Christmas nativity and even featured a real newborn baby, who amazingly, was as good as gold! Although, the same can’t be said about our cheeky animals who were ever so slightly misbehaving…
