We are undertaking some essential kitchen maintenance. Unfortunately, this will result in a limited menu offer on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th April, as we are unable to prepare any hot food. Apologies for the inconvenience.
The 1950s inspired interior of Dotty’s Tea Room is perfect for sampling the delights of our fresh, local produce, including homemade cakes and delicious light lunches. Ingredients are sourced from local Kentish producers and sometimes from Dotty’s own vegetable garden. When the weather is nice take time to sit out on the tea room terrace and reflect on Kent’s past whilst enjoying a tasty cream tea in the sunshine. High chairs are available for our smaller guests to use and bottle warming facilities are provided and a special kids menu caters for younger tastes. Have a look at our current menu before visiting.
The Pantry is located in the indoor soft play barn and sells a variety of snacks including sandwiches, crisps, cakes, ice creams and treats; as well as freshly ground coffees, a selection of teas, chilled drinks, milkshakes and Slush Puppies. In fair weather, stop off at the ice cream hut for a frozen treat.
The Pizza Garden opened in summer 2017 – serving freshly made pizza direct from our very own onsite wood-fired pizza oven.
Pizzas are approximately 9″ and a variety of toppings are available. Prices from £6.50 per pizza. The Pizza Garden is located in between the tea room terrace and the herb garden, and will re-open for our peak season (during peak season, the pizza garden will open at weekends, during school holidays, and for selected special events).
Make time to stop off in our gift shop located in Britain’s last working coal fire Oast House. We have a wealth of gift ideas ranging from games and toys to homeware, books and more.
