Meet the Animals

Visit the farmyard for a hands on experience. £2.00 per child.

Grain to Bread

Learn about cereals, how they grow, the history of the Granary, how bread is made before making and baking a bread roll to take home. £2.oo per child.

Field to Fork

A truly seasonal workshop, learn how many varieties of fruit and vegetables are grown, how animals are reared and how they provide the food that we eat every day. £2.00 per child.

Rag Rug Making

Hear about clothes rationing, “make do and mend”, and why it was necessary to make rugs from rags during the 1940s. Children will create a small rag rug to take home. £2.50 per child.

Minibeasts

Through games and hands-on activities, explore the minibeasts that live at Kent Life, learning details of beetles, spiders, flying insects etc. and how they survive in their habitats through the seasons. £2.00 per child.

Soup's On

Visit the vegetable garden to see what is in season and work together to prepare and cook a pot of seasonal vegetable soup. £4.00 per child.

Meet the Owls

Get up close and personal with live owls during a fascinating and educational display. £2.00 per child.

Nocturnal Animals

Learn about the habitats, adaptations and lifestyles of the animals that come out at night. £2.oo per child.
