Learn Outside the Classroom at Kent Life
Calling all Teachers and Youth Club Managers… get your trips booked at Kent Life for learning outside the classroom!
We can’t believe it’s April already, the year is flying by at rocket speed! Before you blink and its suddenly September, we are reminding all teachers and youth club managers to book in an educational day out at Kent Life. There’s so much fun to be had.
Schools and Youth Groups
In our previous blog post, Time Travel out of the classroom at Kent Life, we spoke about the educational offering at Kent Life for schools. With our fantastic immersive history experiences, the Kent Life team covers nearly every aspect of the curriculum and is an approved “Public Learning Destination” for Kent Children’s University. Read more about this here. So what are you waiting for? Pop over to our website and get booking now!
Hello to all the Brown Owls, Akelas and Scout and Beaver Leaders! Did you know youth groups can visit Kent Life for a fun and educational day out too? Located in the Garden of England, and set in 28 acres of Kent countryside, we offer a unique look back at traditional Kentish life.
What’s on offer?
Your group can enjoy a self-guided visit of exploration, and you can even add additional workshops to your visit for an educational element. From soup making and fashioning rag rugs to getting up close and personal with the Kent Life owls, there is something for everyone.
School Children and Youth Group visitors can step back in time and immerse themselves in history, exploring our historical houses and learn all about seasonal produce. Best of all, little ones can get their hands dirty as they meet our farmyard animals including horses, donkeys, and alpacas to name a few!
So, whilst the sun shines and the flowers bloom, there is no time like the present to organise a trip to Kent Life for your class or Youth Group. We look forward to welcoming you!
