Fabulous animal activities for the whole family to enjoy!
This May Half Term at Kent Life, join our entertainers across the site in our animal themed activities!
New for 2019 – catch the popular Sheep Show at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. The New Zealand style team of presenters educate and entertain with their fantastic sheep all over the country. ‘Nobby’ the Norfolk Horn stands centre stage while others are introduced to their podiums. We learn about each breeds attributes and how wool from the sheep’s back becomes a jumper to wear. The shearing demonstration is well commentated and has the audience captivated.
Our Livestock team still need help bottle-feeding the lambs and goat kids, plus there’s lots of animal encounters to enjoy including ferret racing, feed the pigs and an informative sheep talk.
Step back in time and visit the Vintage Village, from the Victorian Petts Farmhouse, through to WW2 Lenham Cottages, or enjoy the 1950s Sandling Farmhouse. There’s both indoor and outdoor play areas, tractor or land train rides, donkey rides*, bouncy castle, a fun wooden hunt with a sweet treat and the chance to get arty in our Paint-a-Pot studio*.
Visit Dotty’s Tea Room with a great selection of home made cakes and other tasty meals and snacks, or check out our special wood-fired pizza oven in the Pizza Garden.
