Where can I take my class this summer? Is it educational? Is it fun and exciting? Is it safe? Is there enough to keep them busy all day? Well look no further, because Kent Life is the answer!

Is it educational?

Yes! With our range of workshops and demonstrations, historical houses and buildings and variety of farm animals, we can cover nearly every aspect of the curriculum.

If there’s something in particular you are looking for, please contact our Education Officer – we love to add new topics to our programme.

Is it fun?

Yes! Our Entertainers who run our daily entertainment such as animal feeding or meet the ponies really know how to have fun and make things exciting!

We encourage children to have a good snoop round our collection of historic houses and buildings and we can help with resources to make sure they are learning too.

Is it safe?

Yes! At Kent Life, we pride ourselves on our excellent safety record. We have clear safety guidelines, and you can download additional health and safety documents and a risk assessment to help plan your visit.

Why not take advantage of the free pre-visit? This needs to be booked with our Education Officer on 01622 763936.

Is there enough to do?

Yes! A school day probably isn’t long enough!

  • Fun Farm rides, farmyard friends, outdoor play
  • Changing entertainment schedule that may include
    • Meet the Ponies
    • Feed the Pigs
    • Seed Planting
  • Some activities carry a small additional charge, such as
    • Paint-a-Pot
    • Paddle Boats

Any other useful information?

We can supply a free parent/helper guide that allows you to take your class on a self-guided visit of the historic houses. Our gardens are well stocked with a wide range of fruit, vegetables and herbs, and our gardeners are always happy to chat and answer questions. You can buy small bags of animal feed, alternatively, they are more than happy to just get some attention – we have hand-washing facilities across the site.
